Seminars and conferences

Science Centre AHHAA offers you the possibility of holding your meetings, conferences and seminars in the heart of Tartu (Sadama 1). We can also organise a fun and enjoyable post-seminar programme for the participants.

A large conference hall and a smaller seminar room are waiting for you:

  • Apollo (50 seats)
  • Lektoorium (130+20 extra seats) for larger events.

All our rooms are supplied with modern presentation equipment.

Seminar rooms in AHHAA

Lektoorium (130+20 additional seats)

Lektoorium is AHHAA's conference hall that can seat up to 150 people. Access to the hall is from both the first and second floor of the centre. There are handheld microphones and a mobile speaker stand. The interpreter cabin at the back of the hall makes it possible to use simultaneous interpretation at the conferences.

Apollo (50 seats)

Seminar room Apollo can seat up to 50 people. The floor is carpeted and the room has comfortable chairs. The windows of Apollo open towards the hall of the science centre.

For an additional fee, you can explore AHHAA, the largest Science Centre in the Baltic states, take part in some of our various workshops or science theatre shows, or visit the first full-spherical planetarium in the world.

Gala events in AHHAA

For your most special events, you can rent the whole science centre building and organise an unforgettable gala party! Our Hall of Technlogy has room for up to 700 party guests (200 when seated at tables). For an additional fee, your guests can enjoy our planetarium show, workshops and science theatre performances. To make your evening even more memorable, we  recommend our special science show that combines the creme de la creme of AHHAA's science experiments.

Parking

Parking is free for seminar and conference guests. AHHAA has two parking lots: under the building and behind the building (78 places total). The underground parking lot can be reached from the front side of the building, the parking lot behind the house is accessible from Väike-Turu street

Catering for conferences and seminars in AHHAA is provided by Cafe Newton, located on the second floor of the centre.

We're going back to a time when there was no iPhone and pictures didn't come from a printer. Let's manually print images using old-fashioned techniques. Get a glimpse of one of the most extraordinary collections in the whole world! Come and see the medical collections of the Uni. Tartu Faculty of Medicine, with exhibits dating back as far as 1803.
